Membership of the Lancaster Family History Group costs £8.00p in the UK or Overseas for single membership, which is payable by postal order or cheque. Subscriptions are renewed annually at the end of February. For new members who join after November 1st, the first full years membership from the following February, is included in the price. You can become a member of the Lancaster Family History Group by, completing the application form and together with the fee, sending it to our Membership Secretary, at the address on the Membership application form. Pack. This pack contains the following:

| An introductory letter, containing
details about the Group.

| A Letter explaining our
Members' Interest Scheme and a slip for submitting your Members'
Interests.

| A list of the Group publications and
holdings, which are available for purchase or viewing.
|
|
| A brief beginners guide to starting out
your research into your family history.
|
|
| A blank pedigree chart, with room for up
to four generations of your ancestors.
|
|
A new members questionnaire, which allows you to: Include more interest details. Send any contributions you may have for the newsletter. Forward any suggestions or hints towards helping or improving the Newsletter or Group.

| A list of useful research

currently in the Lancaster Family History Group

| Newsletter |
| Members receive a newsletter each month, except for the months of July and August, which we send to our members who live away. The contents of our newsletter consists of; Group news and announcements, a list of new members with optional contact and interest details, and the largest section, which is compiled from the many interesting items, which are contributed by our existing membership. |
